The YMCA

From one year ago I went to the YMCA at my school. This year I'm going again. Now I'm a liveyer's [the name for the upper grades of the school].There is a new air hockey table but the old ping pong table is gone. I go out side with my friend Andy alot to go to the swings.I also spend lots of time playing on the air hockey table.

At 4:00 we sit down and have an assembly and then get snack. At snack, this years snack is not as good as last years. After snack the older kids go outside to play. when the older kids go out to play I go with them and go to the swings. AT the swings I play swing jumping with Andy.

His favorite jump is the Mario sit. The Mario sit is when you fly in the air in a sitting position and land on the ground without move from your sitting position. I just swing really high and jump of while doing a complete circle in the air. That pretty much is what I do all day at YMCA.

The play Date Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will have a play date with my best friend Dale. I'm really excited about it because I going to his house. It is one of the first times in going to his house. Tomorrow we will walk to his house at three and her mom will drive me back at six'o'clock.

At his house I bet we are first going to play his Wii[I have a wii but not a lot of games he has a lot of games]Then we're going to go to the computer and play a game called Epic War Four. I started before him but he can play every day so he got ahead of me.

Lastly we might go out side and play on his play ground in his back yard and run away from his dog named Jet.By that time it's going to be 6;00 so I am going to go home then.

My New Crayfish

I bought my new crayfish at Ranch Ninety-Nine. I picked the biggest one with the biggest pincers. They all didn't seem active so I easily got it up. The seller would not listen me or can't hear so I waited for a long time.

On the car the crayfish was turning blue, so I put a little water in the bag holding it. It kept on pinching the water. The color of the crayfish was turning a darker red and black which means it is getting better.

Finally we got home. I searched for a tank to put the crayfish in.I examined it and found out it was male. It did not have an egg pore. An egg pore is a hole that females use to lay eggs. Males have long fin like things on the behind of there tail.

I put it in a pink bowl and fed it fish food. I learned in third grade that they eat fish food when we got crayfish in our classroom. It was not active at the store, so I decided to lift it up. All of a sudden it became more active. It lifted it's pincers up and snapped them at me, so now I decide to not bother it anymore.I have got the crayfish for only one day so I hope that it is fun having a pet crayfish.

1001 cool freaky facts

I like the book called 1001 cool and freaky facts. It has many of the most unusual facts. For example, in the 1880 pants was a bad word in England.

And if you're wondering why the author call it freaky, listen to this fact: peanuts are one ingredient to make dynamite! Well can you imagine having 3 hearts? An octopus has three hearts and can you believe that! Here's a disgusting fact. A favorite dish in Norway is beef blood pudding. Here's a funny one. The first time the toilet was flushed was in a movie called 'Psycho'.

I can read this book over and over and it is like reading a new book every time. If any of you would like to try this book I would definitely recommend it. And finally, to wrap it up a desk has 400 times more bacteria than a toilet. So you better get off your desk right now!

My New Classroom

My new classroom is a small classroom. I know all the people in my classroom from the first day because I either know them or was in the same class as them. There is one exception of three new girls that I didn't know on the first day.

All my best friends are in the same class and I'm not with them. I only with some secondary friends, boys that I know, boys that I don't like, and girls. So I don't like my class cause there's 16 girls and 11 boys.School is really boring these few days.

The first month I was only doing art and listening to the the teacher talk.So I relied on the recess and lunch for some fun with my friends. There was barely any work and homework.

My class has twenty-seven people in all and it gets really loud when it near recess or lunch. When the bell rings the kids all charge out yelling and run to the playground. At the playground I play Fish out of water. That is how every super boring day goes at my school.

My favorite game At School

My favorite game at school is Fish out of the water. For Fish out of water the last person to get on the blue bars is it. So at recess every one is running as fast as they could to get to the bars and not be the last.

First the people that are it [which is only one,] closes his eyes and spines around while counting to 10. Most of the time we play on these tall blue bars so it is easier to go and duck under. As the person who tries to get us goes by, I have gotten some really close encounters when the person stepped right over me!

Then with his eyes closed he tries to tag somebody on the blue bars. If he hears somebody on the ground, you can say pie and the person that is still on the ground is it. Also the more people there are in the game the more fun.

This game is almost the only game at school so I play it every day. The people that are not it make lots of sound effects to make the person that is it come to them and then they dodge him. That is my favorite game at school.

A Hike at the Beach

About one week ago I went to the edge of San Fransisco in a 2-hour drive. There, my family went and took a trail. The trail was so close to the beach you could see it, and all the people on the beach.

So we started hiking. On the way we say a tree with a mushroom almost 1and a half feet wide. The mushroom looked like a rock because it was bumpy and gray. And guess what? The mushroom felt like a rock also. If only it looked like a rock none would know it was actually a mushroom.

We started walking again after awhile and taking some pictures. We crossed some bushes into a water fall. The water fall had clean water with lots of mud on the banks and even more bugs. We went ahead and there was nothing more, so we turned back and headed toward the beach.

The beach's sand was so soft it was like dust. On the beach I built a big wall and a hole inside the wall to get water. I kept on expanding my hole. But like my hole, the waves were getting bigger and bigger.

I didn't notice so I kept on making it bigger and bigger. All of a sudden boom! The wave came and my whole wall with a hole in it was demolished. But shortly after my dad called for me and I rode in the the car for the 2-hour drive home.

Raze

Yesterday I had a play date with my friend named Dilip. At his house we played a game called Raze. That game was really fun, so we played it for a long time. When he told me about raze I thought I wouldn't like it, but when I tried it, it was really fun. When I played it Dilip did a quick match for me.

I had four allies and 5 enemies so it was five on five. We went to the level called the disposal, and there we started out with a pistol. There will be glowing buttons and on top of the buttons are a kind of gun. A purple light with a person on it means invincibility.

My favorite gun is the machine gun. When there is a lot of enemies in the enemy base,I hold the mouse down and I usually kill a few of them.Once I killed all of the people that were my enemies. The bad things is once you die you lose all your guns and start with only a pistol left.

The level called the base has the most guns on the top, and that is the place where I got my rail gun. Usually I always win the rounds because there are the rocket launchers. For the rocket launchers, I can shoot the rocket launcher once, and the enemy is dead. On the menu I always put the weapons to all. That is what I played at the play date with Dilip.
