My Classes Halloween Party

On Thursday, my class had a Halloween party. At the Halloween party, we first used a square piece of paper to make an origami skull. I made my origami skull have 5 eyes. Then, I made a bunch of sharp teeth on the skull.

After we finished with the skull we all washed our hands. When I came back to my desk I had a cupcake, a marshmallow ghost, a milano cookie tomb stone, and a a pumpkin like candy. I stuck all of the Halloween things on a chocolate cupcake and at the top.

I finished and I went to a line inn the middle of the room. I did not know what we were lining up for, then all of a sudden pop! In the front of the room were a bunch of balloons. In the balloon there was a ticket. The ticket had a number written on it. Then I went to the back table to get a bag of candy that has the same number as the one on my ticket.

And just like that, school ended. At 2:45 We all got to go out side and got a goodie bag. And then I went to my mom.

Chinese School

Every Sunday at 12:00 to 2:45 I have to go to Chinese school. In Chinese school, you first take a test. After I take the test, I have listen for the rest of the time of the teacher talking about this word and that word.

In the middle of class, the school gets a ten minute break. but at the break there is nothing to do cause it is just a piece of flat ground with no playground. But I have a friend there that I talk to for ten minutes every Sunday.

In class the whole time you just listen to the teacher talk on and on and on about a word. When she is finished talking then she picks people to say the word she is pointing at.

Everyone is always really happy when the two hours of Chinese class is over. Then my dad picks me up and I go home.

Laser Quest

On my birthday I'm going to Laser Quest. I invited lots of friends so I could team up on people. Laser Quest has a arcade room in the front. In the arcade room you are supposed to go to the front desk and say a name that you want to be called when they do scores.

Once you are done making a nickname, you will get some kind of orange plastic card with a metal piece. Then go to a door on the side with people crowding around. Someone will open the door and all of you will go into a small room. There, the person will tell you the rules and some tips. He will open the door and you have to rush in. Get in the room and get a suit of armor with a gun. Put the metal part of your card to the gun and wait thirty seconds.

Once your gun is activated, you should already be inside and running. If you are slower, then watch out for the people that stay at the door and wait for people to come. Then team up with any friends you got and get shooting!

My Private Lessons

A few weeks ago my mom asked the coach about private lessons. The coach said yes. Now, I go to have swimming lessons every Monday. Coach Dave teaches me a stroke that I pick every Monday. First I kept on picking Breaststroke and Freestyle to get really good. Then I started working on butterfly.

In butterfly I had to go a little straighter for my hands and kick harder. In breaststroke I was good. In freestyle I had to not move my head.

Every time I swim for 30 min. In the thirty minutes I work on about 2 strokes. I think swimming is fun so I swim every day except weekends. That is my private lesson.

My Swim Race

On Saturday and Sunday morning, I had a swim race. On the first day I did 25 meter butterfly in 26.94 sec. and breaststroke in 25.71 sec. In breast stroke I got first place. For butterfly I got 3rd place.

In between I got snacks like a beef flavor noodle cup and nachos. Unlike my first time, this time I wasn't nervous. On the first day I was really busy so I had to hurry because I had a school activity.

On the second day I did 25 meter freestyle and 50 meter freestyle. For 25 meter free. 19.78sec. and for the 50 meter 44.54 seconds. In these scores I will earn 3 ribbons. I am really happy with my scores. my dad said that I got faster in my breaststroke before.

Overall, that is my swimming contest.

My School's Walkabout

On Sunday, October 9, my school had a Walkabout. In the walkabout the maximum of laps for fourth were 80. We got double score when the I like To Move It Move It song goes then every lap that we do counts as two laps. Every time that song goes I can run 3 laps, which counts as 6 laps. They played songs the whole time and every five laps you get a prize.

On lap number 30 I got a free drink. The drink I picked was Propel. The propel was grape flavor. When I got tired my dad ran laps for me. Some prizes I got were good like the tiger balloon and the glowing skull necklace. I'll tell you what most the prizes are. One is a tiny plastic frog. Another is a tattoo!

At the end they did a lot of the double laps for us to finish up. Me and my dad finished in the last second and were exhausted. I saved all my prizes so she gave me a lot at a time. Then I got a ticket for two free snacks. We got two snacks and then we went home. For my bath and play date with Riki which will be my next topic.

Soccer

My team in soccer is really bad. But, I still like soccer. My team have played almost ten games and scored only 2 goals.I am one of the best dribblers that go all the way across the field. Harry is good at passing to the person that dribbles.

My team has 13 people. Most of my team are short and younger people that does not know where to pass the ball. The bigger people kick the ball to hard but the kick randomly. Only about 5 people out of the 13 people are good at soccer.

We have bad defense and okay offense. My team passes to much so none takes the ball. That's why my team loses every game something to 0.

I don't exactly like my team, but I still like soccer.

Pomegranate

Pomegranates are red and juicy. A pomegranate is a round fruit that has lots of peels. If you opened it there would be yellow peels sticking to the bright red seeds. Don't eat the yellow peels! It is really bitter.

If a pomegranate is ripe it sometimes turns a red color and cracks open. Inside should be all darkish red. I don't usually take ones that aren't open to soon.

The pomegranate can be eaten in many ways. Some pickier people like to take all the seeds off and eat them with a spoon and spit the seeds out. I like to just bite into the thing and eat in all the seeds around and the yellow stuff then spit all the seeds and the bitter yellow peels out. My dad likes eating them one by one.

for me I started liking pomegranates when I got some from my friend. Then I planted a tree but I still get from my friends. Now, I still hope my pomegranate grows faster the pomegranate is the most common fruit I eat cause my friend gives me bunches at a time.

Pomegranates are fun to eat, can get your hands wet, and best of all, it tastes really good!

i Pad

An iPad is a silver colored flat square-like touchscreen. The first time I played one was when I went to the apple store in the great mall. I played plants vs. Zombies on mini games and "Tap Tap Revenge 3.On the front page there is app store where you can get games.

I spend a lot of time looking at the app store. Some mornings I look at the weather to see how hot or cold it is. The i Pad is like a miniature computer. Its touch screen is really cool when you slide your finger across the screen and it goes to the next page.

The i Pad has a really smooth surface where the fingers go and the back is all silvery and almost shiny. It is a square with each side about one foot long.On the top right corner of the screen it has the battery sign that shows the percentage.

On one of the sides it has a long black button and each of the sides of the button were taller than the middle. It is the volume button. Another smaller button on the top of the i Pad is for turning the screen on or off. If you want to completely power off, then hold the button until a thing that says slide to power off comes out.

This i Pad is really cool, even at my soccer game my coach uses it to show use where to kick the ball and our positions. This is a little thing that can tell you anything and do lot of things.

If some one told me I can buy either a computer or a i Pad, I would buy an i Pad.

Days After my mom Went To China

When my mom and little sister went to China, every morning I went to school real early cause I didn't have to wait for my little sister. My mom will be gone for about two weeks. My mom told me on the phone that my little sister said "how come dad still hasn't come back?" when she woke up in China.

At school we get out at 2:45 I go to YMCA because my mom is in China. AT the Y I first do my homework, then go outside for swinging and jumping off. I go back in around 3:50 for some snacks and start playing air hockey until 5:50 when my dad comes. In air hockey I sometimes win and sometimes don't. I have really fast reflexes in air hockey but I don't know where to go to block the puck. And I like doing direct shots, not bouncing the puck around the walls to make a side ways goal.

I did not feel disturbed without my mom for the first few days. After one day I was beginning to feel lonely and happy. I felt happy because there is no sister to bother me, and I feel lonely because my mom is gone.

My dad cooks meals for us or we go to a restraunt. We ate noodles on the first day. We went to "IN-n-Out" on the second day. My dad used the oven to bake one of those already cooked meals to eat on the third day.

It is only five days and I'm already missing my mom, not my sister.
